What's Included?
Motorcycle
- A rental HARLEY-DAVIDSON (includes helmets). You will be asked to make
3 model selections, and we will do our best to accommodate your first preference.
The rental cost and insurance are included.
Any damage deposit (typically $2,000.00) is not. Be prepared to have these
“posted” to your credit card by the rental facility.
Bringing your own motorcycle will not reduce the price of the tour unless you arrive on it at the starting point of the tour. (i.e. local participants). Subtract $930.00
Shuttle Service - Pickup from and return to Washington Dulles Airport of you and your luggage. Transportation to and from rental facility. Transportation of your luggage for the tour. Please limit the luggage to what is within typical airline restrictions.
Meals - Breakfast and Evening meals are included. Lunch, Alcohol and Gratuities, are not. We also ask you to observe a $22.00 per person limit for the Evening meal
Accommodations - Will be clean and comfortable. "Rider / double occupancy" means you will be rooming with another rider. If you have chosen this option and the group dynamics do not allow for this, the issue will be resolved at our expense.
Most all facilities have a no-smoking policy in rooms and common areas. You can request a smoking room, but most likely you will need to smoke outside.
Camping - One night of rustic camping will be included (weather permitting) if all participants have selected this option in their registration form. Tents, airmattresses, bedding, etc. will be provided and set up by our staff. We will only use National or State parks with facilities that have showers and modern toilets. We'll also have available a couple of guitars for the musically inclined!
Rain Gear - We will have rain-gear available should the need arise. You should bring your own preferred riding gear. Helmet rental is included, but feel free to bring your own.
Tolls & Entrance Fees - Road use tolls and entrance fees to Skyline Drive are included, as are Park fees if the trip includes camping. All other fees (museums, Luray caverns, etc.) are not.
Milage - Roughly 1,750 depending on route.
